Kenya’s President signed a deal with China to build roads in Kenya. He was proud of his accomplishment, yet the Chinese based company shipped in their own workers. Kenyans were less than happy as you can imagine, in a country where locating employment is very frustrating.
Students graduate from university without any prospects or hope of finding employment.
One Charles Ombongi went to university majoring in biochemistry, he found work as a loan officer. Something he’s very unfamiliar with even ended up being shafted out of two months of income.
With this influx of Chinese, (all male workers) Kenyan women started getting pregnant. When the women tried to inform the fathers they found them unresponsive. Men abandoning these pregnant women even created a wave of memes, Kenyan men begin laughing at & humiliating these mothers.
