From SourceForge.net: Gmail Mobile — Gmail on the move. Now if you have access to a PHP-enabled server and WAP, you can set these up so you can access your Gmail thru your mobile.
Pretty complicated at this time.
Yahoo! mail allows access via WAP.
What I do: I auto-forward/copy all personal emails (those that are sent
directly to my gmail address) to my Yahoo! mail account so I can check
while on-the-go if needed.
I’ll wait for native Gmail-over-WAP access before trying out anything direct.
