Universal Electrical Adaptors

Terrible that plugs aren’t the same across countries, or that chargers aren’t the same across devices. Definitely a known pain with multiple companies (and states) trying to create their own standards.

Could some sort of adaptor be designed that molds itself to the input / output? Something that conducts electricity but is maleable, like putty. As a wall socket, you could plug anything into it.

I’m certainly not an electrical engineer, so don’t know what I’m talking about. But would be nice. I wonder what the technical limitations are restricting something like this being developed.
