Kutumba is a pure Nepalese folk band and one of my favourite. They use traditional Nepalese instruments like sarang (string), madal (Percussion), bansuri (wind) and more. Another advantage if you listen to this album is, you can feel the music of the Himalayas. The Himalayans run through Bhutan, India, Nepal, China and Pakistan. Each region has its own culture, lifestyle and music. Kutumba always excerpts the feel of massive, vast and beautiful Himalayans and the simplicity, peacefulness and joy of life.
