Announcing Executive Leadership Transition

Washington, July 5 — Radiant Earth Foundation today announced a plan for an executive leadership transition later this year. Effective November 1, 2022, Hamed Alemohammad, Executive Director and Chief Data Scientist, will transition to an advisor and member of the Board of Directors at Radiant Earth Foundation. With this transition, the Board of Directors has opened a position to hire the new Executive Director for the organization.
Hamed joined the organization in 2017, and has been influential in shaping the strategic mission of Radiant Earth and supporting the leadership in the functional pivot in 2019. As the Executive Director, he has successfully attracted new financial resources to expand Radiant Earth’s impact and signature service, Radiant MLHub. The new Executive Director is expected to build on this momentum, continue Radiant Earth’s leadership roles across the ecosystem, and scale its impact across the global community.
The Board of Directors has worked with Hamed to implement a transition plan and ensure continuity of Radiant Earth services. They are committed to supporting the Radiant Earth’s team in this transition and to onboarding the new Executive Director.

Throughout my tenure at Radiant, I have had the opportunity to learn from many team members and collaborators which I am so grateful for. I am honored that I had the opportunity to lead the team for the last two years, and will continue to support them as an advisor.”
