Submit to Radio Free Platypus!

Like to get published? Here’s how.

We publish stuff! Read on to see how you can join.

You are here to read interesting and different things, because you have the kind of mind that won’t be pigeon-holed.

We get that at RFP.

SO, we’d like to make it possible for you to not only find those things, we know that you probably write them as well. We want those submissions. You know, the ones that may not get in other places because they aren’t following all the cookie-cutter formats and subjects out there. In short, your stuff.

Here’s how you do that.

Email your request to join us at RadioFreePlatypus@outlook.com and briefly tell us about yourself.

That’s it. Oh, but there are some rules you need to follow.

  1. NO listicles, or posts about how much money you make.

You made a gazillion bucks stuffing olives into Twinkies? Great — just don’t tell us about it. We don’t care (or believe you).

2. Don’t attack others because they appear to disagree with you, or call them cutesy names because you think it’s clever.

We see one ‘libtard’ or ‘Nazi conservative’ and you’re off the bus. Disagree, just be civilized about it. After all, what are you, 12?

3. No political posts, articles, or analysis.

You have plenty of other places to go for that.

We encourage beginning writers to hone their skills here.

That said, watch for the occasional item called a “StorySeed” that gives you a writing prompt to try your luck and creativity out. (Don’t worry, you won’t miss them, as they’ll be plainly marked.)

Once approved, you’ll be able to submit your stories directly to us here at RFP on Medium for editing and curation.

What are you waiting for? Get busy writing!!!
