Podcasts in the car are awesome. Catching up on a favorite show, listening to the news, or learning something new is a great way to make a horrible commute tolerable. But fiddling around with your phone and trying to tap a little button to start a podcast while driving isn’t safe, and that’s where Android Auto comes in.

Android Auto is your smart driving companion. With a simplified interface, large buttons, and powerful voice actions, Android Auto is designed to make it easier to use apps from your phone while you’re on the road.

Our most recent update to RadioPublic brings improved Android Auto support, making it much simpler to hear your favorite podcasts while in the car. Get quick access to episodes in your queue, shows you listen to most, new episodes from shows you follow, downloaded episodes, and shows you follow.

Look at those big chunky buttons waiting to be tapped.

Big chunky buttons and simpler navigation are great, but you can also start playing podcasts on RadioPublic with your voice. With the app open, tap the microphone button, or say “OK Google play The Adventure Zone” and your podcast will start playing while you keep your hands on the wheel.
