8 Weeks until first pitch at Hadlock Field

Greatest moment #6, 2006 Northern Division Championship Series Game #4

September 9, 2006 will always be known as the Brandon Moss game. After losing the opener in Trenton, 3–1, the Sea Dogs won the next two games and had a chance to win the series on a gorgeous September night.

Trenton took a 3–0 lead in the second inning, but Portland responded with a run on a solo-shot by Brian Myrow. In the fourth, Myrow added a two-out RBI double to plate Chris Durbin. With the game tied at three in the top of the ninth inning, Moss made the first of two dramatic plays. Randy Ruiz delivered a two-out single to right field, but Moss threw out J.T. Stotts at the plate to keep the game tied.

Moss did not disappoint in the 10th inning, with one out, he hit a 3–0 pitch into the U.S. Cellular Pavilion to give the Sea Dogs a 4–3 walk-off win and a trip to the Eastern League Championship series (Beat Akron for first title).
