Day 5 in Ft. Myers — Opportunity of a lifetime.

I can’t thank Tim Neverett enough. He made it possible for me to join him on the Red Sox broadcast today in Sarasota. On Friday, I’ll be working with Tim again, getting to do three innings of play-by-play. Red Sox play the Yankees in Tampa tomorrow.

Had a great time catching up with some old friends today in Sarasota. Caught up with: Carlos Febles, Rich Gedman, Jon Jochim and Deven Marrero…Marrero has an excellent chance to make the team.

Steven Wright’s (unofficial) line: 4 IP; 6 H; 4 ER; 4 BB; 1 K. 63 pitches/34 strikes — pitching for Portland in a minor league game. Wright is hopeful to start the year in the rotation.
