Heading home soon…’Dogs and Mets on Wednesday
Portland conclude their six-game roadtrip on Wednesday night against the Binghamton Mets from NYSEG Stadium. With a win tonight, the ‘Dogs will take their first 2 road series for the first time since 2008. Mets beat Portland last 7–4.
It’s been tough watching all the events going on in Boston the past few days. Despite being so far away, I still feel very connected to the situation. I grew up in Ashland, Mass, the second town in the Marathon route. That day is always special for it’s symbolism to Paul Revere, and the celebration to great athletes, and of course the Red Sox. This is like living through 9/11 again, and my heart goes out to so many that are suffering through all of this.
