JUST ONE TONIGHT: The Sea Dogs and Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies affiliate) continue their four-game series on Wednesday night from First Energy Stadium…Portland is 0–6–1 in their last seven series…The ‘Dogs last series win came on May 20–23 at Hadlock Field, taking three of four from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on May 20–23 at Hadlock Field…Their last road-series win came on April 30-May 2, sweeping Reading in a three-game set (first game was postponed due to rain).

THAT’S A SPLIT: Portland and Reading split a twinbill on Tuesday night in the start of a four-game series…Reading took the opener 4–1, receiving a complete-game, 3-hitter from Seth Rosin (4–4)…Matt Barnes (3–4) took his third straight loss, allowing two unearned runs over 4 IP…In game two, Travis Shaw knocked in all three runs with a bases-clearing double in the third inning off Bobby Braham (0–1)…Charlie Haeger (3–3) worked 5.2 scoreless frames on four hits to earn the win…Rafael Perez recorded the final four outs to earn his firs save in the Red Sox system.

COMING OFF A RECORD PERFORMANCE: RHP Anthony Ranaudo became the fourth pitcher in franchise history to strikeout 13 batters in his previous outing on June 13th against Erie at Hadlock Field…Below is a list of the 13 strikeout performances in team history…Ranaudo’s lone loss this year is to Reading — all three homers allowed to the Fightin Phils.

CHASE IN THE BUILDING: Phillies 2B Chase Utley is scheduled to start a Major League Rehabilitation stint in tonight’s game…Utley has been on Philadelphia’s disabled list with a strained oblique…In 44 games this year with the Phils, Utley is hitting .272 (43-for-158) with 7 homers and 25 RBI.
