MAKE THAT TWO FOR TWO: LHP Matt Maloney earned a win in his Sea Dogs’ debut on July 24th at New Britain and earned the save by working around two singles with two outs in the ninth on Saturday at Fenway Park…The lefty was on Pawtucket’s disabled all season until he was activated by Portland — he appeared in 5 minor league rehab games with Lowell.
THREE QUARTERS TO A GRAND: With a win tonight, the Sea Dogs will have 750 as a Red Sox affiliate…Saturday’s win at the 8th Annual Future’s at Fenway was their third in four games at Fenway Park.
