The Sunday Seven!

A week in review of the Pawtucket Red Sox and happenings in baseball

  1. On Friday, Paws helped out during these tough times, passing out lunches for students at Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School. Great to see! Way to go Paws. (photos on twitter @pawsox)
  2. Spreading more love during this shutdown — The WooSox Foundation today announced their pledge of $10,000 to “Worcester Together,” an initiative set up by @UnitedWayofCM , @GWGives, and @TweetWorcester to help those affected by #Covid19.
  3. Check out my interview with Kyle Hart on my weekly podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/behind-the-mike/id1447644808
  4. Lefty Josh Osich was optioned to Pawtucket on March 19th…He signed with the Red Sox as a major league free agent on December 4, 2019. Originally selected by San Francisco in the sixth round of the 2011 June Draft and pitched in the Giants organization from 2012–18. Last year, he went 4–0, 4.66 ERA In 57 appearances for the White Sox, set career highs in innings (67.2) and strikeouts (61) while holding left-handed hitters to a .171 batting average.
  5. Nice article from MassLive on some familiar names to PawSox fans.
  6. MLB the Show 20 is outstanding. I have a little more time to play video games. This year’s edition features the ACTUAL players from the minor leagues. Much different than year’s past.
  7. Any baseball-related questions! Let me know. I can be reached on twitter Michael Antonellis or mantonellis@pawsox.com
