The Sunday Seven (Edition #4)

Happy Easter!

A week in review of the Pawtucket Red Sox and happenings in baseball

  1. Happy Easter to everyone! I know some people can’t be with their family today, but I spent an hour on FaceTime with my parents and nieces — the best hour of the day.
  2. The Pawtucket Red Sox launched “Opening Day, Anyway” last Thursday. Myself, Josh Maurer, and Jim Cain called the game, live from our homes. The simulation featured Pawtucket against Boston. Rafael Devers won it, blasting a three-run homer almost off the Pesky Pole.
Opening Day (Anyway) was live on Twitch

3. Great job by the PawSox front office!

4. We join our community in support of Pawtucket Firefighter Brad Hazelton. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. We’re all rooting for you, Brad. (Tweet from Pawtucket) — I second that notion.

5. Working on a big project with Josh Maurer. Hope to have more details in the coming weeks.

6. The season would have been three days old, as the entire minor leagues had Easter Sunday off.

7. Pawtucket Manager Billy McMillon joined me on this week’s podcast of Behind the Mike
