Week in Review for the Portland Sea Dogs
- Dustin Pedroia returned to Portland on a Major League Rehab Assignment on May 2nd...Pedroia is a member of Portland’s Hall of Fame.
- On Sunday, the Red Sox assigned former big leaguer Cody Asche to Portland. Asche has appeared in 390 MLB games.
- Portland will have a stretch of three road series of 14 days, playing 11 games away from Maine; May 10–23, just three games.
- Marcus Wilson has been moved to the lead-off spot and hit his first homer on April 29th at Hartford.
- Dedgar Jimenez won his fifth start of the season on May 5th in game one of a doubleheader…Jimenez was in danger of losing three straight starts with the Sea Dogs getting a shutout, but they rallied for 4 runs in the sixth inning.
- C.J. Chatham is 8-for-14 during a four-game hitting streak and he leads the team with a .341 average.
