When you see the ship, you’ve found OpenSea.

Today we will explore your OpenSea account in more detail from the MetaMask app on a mobile device. I have taken the following steps with an iPhone.

It is important to note that from time to time OpenSea will have a bug that prevents OpenSea from operating correctly on a mobile device. Those bugs are almost always non-existent by visiting the OpenSea website on a desktop.

First open your MetaMask app. Next, open the browser utility inside MetaMask. Next type opensea.io into the URL at the top of the screen. The URL box is hidden until you tap the top of the screen.

Once you are at OpenSea.io your MetaMask wallet will automatically connect to your OpenSea profile.

You are automatically assigned a Username in OpenSea but may change it.

The first thing you will notice is that your username is extremely unfriendly. To change your username, profile picture, or banner simply click the three lines in the upper right hand corner, then account, then account settings, then profile. Make changes as you wish.

Once you’re in OpenSea through MetaMask you’re going to click on the three lines in the top right corner, choose account, then click profile.

After making any desired changes return to the main menu and select profile. The jumbles of letters below your username is your MetaMask wallet ID.

This is public and it allows transfers in and out of your account. Yes, that’s right it’s public. Remember, one of the features of the blockchain is complete transparency so all your transactions can be seen by people all over the world.

You can share your MetaMask wallet number with people — it does not give away any sensitive information.

Underneath where it says ‘Joined month year’ you will see collections and created. These two categories are actually part of a menu and you can scroll them sideways to see ‘favorited’, ‘hidden’, ‘activity’, ‘offers’, and ‘listings’.

Once you start browsing NFTs on OpenSea, favoriting them makes it more manageable to retrieve that NFT you saw six hours ago for the purpose of either purchasing, putting in an offer, or sharing with others.

One final trick in OpenSea is to click the three lines in the upper right hand corner, then My Wallet. This will display your wallet address as well as total balance of funds.

For now, please don’t feel silly if you get stuck. Getting into NFTs can be tricky and myself and the entire team at RadishNFT are here to help and we can be contacted at our Discord server here.
