Though it may be a long time coming…
There are so many battles that the thriving population of domestic cats faces (like neglect, abandonment, and euthanasia), so this Christmas wish may seem trivial by comparison to wishing those away. But it isn’t trivial and it needs to be addressed.
My wish is that people would cease subjecting cats to horrible feats for their ratings on YouTube and elsewhere.
Cats are beautiful and amusing and entertainment enough on their own. There shouldn’t be a constant need to out-do the last person’s crazy video.
There are just a few days left to get my letter in to Santa and that’s it. That’s my wish!
