Introduction

My project is an exploration of both photography and photographer through the lens of location. Madeline Kinney has lived in three cities: Toronto, Montreal, and Tokyo. These locations have shaped her art and who she is as an artist. My goal is to find a narrative within her photography and create a space to explore Madeline’s story. Each location showcases such different fragments of the photographers life and therefore I will be designing three separate books.
