The story about CallBlitz originates and predates before covid. The co-founder, Jack Knight was an SDR (Sales development representative) making cold calls and running call blitzes with his fellow reps in the office. Jack was struggling to bring the team together and he was spending hours a week trying to call the coach using recordings and the delayed feedback was awful. After covid hit the team from CallBlitz identified remote work as the future.

Jack met Markus, one of his co-founders, online after Markus was intrigued by the challenge of completely revamping the way remote SDR teams work. Together, the team from CallBlitz set off to find the solution to remote call coaching for SDR teams, where they meet Ragebite in their journey.

Intro

We connected with CallBlitz in Q3 2022 to help them push their MVP by putting the idea to life through a seamless user journey in a state-of-the-art web application intended to scale sales reps.

From reps to reps

Sales representatives have been in the trenches making dials and know how hard the job is, in-office or at home. Making cold calls alone can be frightening. Remote cold call coaching is nearly impossible, and as well that one manager listening to an entire team’s call recordings is way too much to keep up with. CallBlitz is here because it is well known that sales is a team sport, and the only way to be a team, is to be together.

CallBlitz’s core features & selling points

As a platform, it has a goal to revolutionize sales service coaching. It holds four key aspects to it:

Team-based application

Converting learning sales into a team sport. CallBlitz offers users to form teams for their companies, agencies, or friends. Teams can subscribe to earn perks such as private calls and more.

Ranked calls

A competitive aspect is introduced by rating all calls that have been performed on CallBlitz. Specific parameters are determined such as the number of dials, trophies, connections, and hours spent in blitzes. Top-tier callers are set out to receive rewards.

Affiliate program

CallBlitz offered their users a chance to become brand ambassadors by constantly using the affiliate program. It allows existing users to refer their colleagues to register on the platform and for the ‘ambassadors’ to earn a percentage of their first subscription.

Dialer integration

The key and heart of CallBlitz’s coaching to cold calling lie within the ability for users to integrate with a dialer to receive and give live actionable feedback. This allows new hires to get up to speed faster and catch up with the quality a company has installed for selling a product/service.

The platform looked the way we imagined it. We gave our ideas and rough mock ups to their team, they asked us for some inputs on style and colors, and they built the designs out. We chatted almost daily about feedback and met weekly for general updates.
