One of our more proud engagements includes EliteGamingLIVE (EGL).

EGL is a competitive gaming platform for grades 3–12 utilizing esports to cultivate the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians.

Esports is bringing a revolution in the way sports are being played and watched. The industry is consumed by millions of people around the globe, where 98% of kids above eleven are playing video games. This medium alone provides a powerful opportunity for platforms like EGL to introduce to young minds a STEM sooner while developing the necessary connective tissues to excel for the rest of their lives.

Ragebite is a big fan, supporter, and admirer of people doing this type of work, where through education of generations to come the industry undertakes an overall healthier perspective.

Intro

Kerwin Rent, founder and CEO of EliteGamingLive, and Ragebite connected in late 2022 (currently partnered) in pursuit of bringing forward a series of live interactive and animated lesson modules and enhancing their user experience throughout the platform through frontend development work.

EGL’s core features & selling points

There are a few competitive advantages to EGL that bring out the true spark in the platform and how it inspires the new generations to come.

The core functionality of EGL — Players can earn LS (LiveScore points) by competing in game day events and learning by completing the EGL Academy STEM lessons.

EGL Gameday

EliteGamingLive runs competitions in form of game days designed for young gamers to have fun playing the games they love in the league events where they earn points to participate in the EGL championship to win prizes & glory.

EGL Academy

An edge that EGL holds over other esports platforms is its approach to youth education. Students in the grades 3–12 can utilize over 5,000 lessons and learn about STEM with potential STEM career opportunities. Each completed lesson would bring more LS and be connected with the content they’re already in love with.

A word from Kerwin Rent, founder & CEO of EliteGamngLive, about Ragebite

Ragebite largely delivered on time and was great at taking on challenges as the project progressed.

Ragebite’s contribution to EGL

We helped EGL to set new standards in their lesson modules. The goal was to make them animated as well as more interactive, dramatic, and fun to use for the students while navigating through the courses. An approach like this gives better learning results when aimed at the desired audience.

Our hands went into the biggest depths of the EGL platform and helped them to push forward a variety of new features. We enhanced the user experience by bringing out a form of a coded user interface that has options that made the platform feel more pleasing while playing a game, learning, or using the platform.

Our partnership with EGL is still young and growing as we’re both supporting each other’s endeavors.
