We’re thrilled to finally announce the schedule for the highly anticipated Closed Beta Test (CBT)! We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Tamers who have patiently waited for this moment. With great excitement, we’re here to share more detailed information about the upcoming CBT.

CBT Schedule

First, let’s take a look at the schedule. The ROMW CBT will run from August 19th, 12pm to August 26th, 12pm (GMT+7).

In this article, we’ll cover who is eligible to participate, how to join, and the events that will be held during the CBT.

The main objectives of this CBT are to thoroughly test the game’s functionality, implementation, and performance, especially under the conditions of a growing user base. It’s also an essential step in identifying any in-game bugs as we work together to create a better gaming experience. Once again, thank you to all the Tamers for your ongoing support and love. Now, let’s dive into the details of the CBT!

Eligible Participants

To provide more players with the opportunity to experience the gameplay and to collect as much data as possible, this CBT is open globally.

However, please note that users from China, Korea, and Japan are excluded from this test due to country’s regulations. All other users can freely download and play the game.

The data and feedback gathered from this CBT will help us expand the list of official launch countries, making it easier for players worldwide to enjoy the game in the future.

How to Join the CBT

As mentioned earlier, the CBT is open to users from all countries except China, Korea, and Japan.

To participate, Android users can download Ragnarok: Monster World from Google Play, and Apple users can download it through TestFlight.

For Android Users (Google Play):

• Visit Google Play and download the game titled (CBT) Ragnarok: Monster World.
• The download link will be shared on ROMW’s social channels on the day the CBT starts.
• Once downloaded, open the game, complete the registration process, connect your wallet and email, and start playing.

For Apple Users (TestFlight):

• Apple users must first download the TestFlight app.
• Through the TestFlight app, you can download and play (CBT) Ragnarok: Monster World.
• After downloading, open the game, complete the registration process, connect your wallet and email, and start playing.
• Detailed instructions and the download link will be provided on the day the CBT begins.

CBT Events

We know you’ve been waiting for the CBT, so we’ve prepared some exciting events to make your experience even more enjoyable. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

Gameplay Event “Real Tamers”:

Requirements:

• Connect your Google account and Ronin wallet to the game.
• Achieve an MMR of over 1,250 or 10 wins. (The MMR starts at 1200 and increases or decreases by 15 points with each win or loss.)
• Log in for more than 3 consecutive days.

Rewards:

• If fewer than 20,000 players participate, everyone will receive a Kobold Archer.
• If fewer than 30,000 players participate, a Grizzly will be awarded.
• If more than 30,000 players participate, both a Grizzly and a Kobold Archer will be awarded.
• Raffle tickets (raffle items include):
• 1 Genesis Tamer
• 5 Irochi Baphomets
• 10 Baphomets
• 10 RON to 250 people
• The particular raffle will have ROMW Holders’ Benefit: 10x raffle winning chances for Genesis Tamer holders, and 3x for other NFT holders. Meaning, your lucky number input in the raffle will times 10 or 3 depending on your NFT holdings.

Discord Event “Strategy King”:

Requirements:

• Share your game-winning strategies in the #Game-Winning-Strategy channel on Discord.

Rewards:

• 10 selected participants will receive a Baphomet.
• 5 chosen by the team
• 5 chosen based on emoji reactions

X Event “Share Your Gameplay”:

Requirements:

• Connect your Google account and Ronin wallet in-game.
• Take a screenshot while playing.
• Post the screenshot on X (Twitter) with the tags @RagmonNFT and hashtags #ROMW, #CBT, #Ragmon.
• Submit the post link via Google Forms.
• The Google Forms link will be available when the event opens.

Rewards:

• 20 winners will receive a Chimera NFT.

Bug Bounty:

Requirements:

• Report in-game bugs via Google Forms.

Rewards:

• Significant reports will be rewarded with a Razer Cash Card.
