Creating Change on a Coffee Farm in Peru

Juan Jiménez, his wife Julia, and their two children have restored the ecosystem on their coffee farm in Cajamarca, Perú. Their farm is now more productive, resilient to the impacts of climate change, and provides better habitat for wildlife. It has been Rainforest Alliance Certified since 2010.

Juan is a true change agent, as he has motivated his neighbors to implement best practices to increase the productivity of their farms and the quality of their coffee. He regularly hosts other farmers to share information and exchange information, and is an active member of CENFROCAFE, one of the most important coffee cooperatives in Peru.
