AMA++ More questions answered from the RAKUN team

We appreciate everyone for attending our recent AMA hosted by CoinTiger. We got a lot of great questions and didn’t get a chance to answer them all, so we wanted to follow with a few more answers regarding the RAKUN project. Please see below!

1. What is GOOD LUCK3? And What’s its role in RAKUN?
   RAKUN is developed by Good Luck 3, an independent studio in Fukuoka, Japan. Good Luck 3 focused on entertainment media branding from mobile games to local television. As of 2018 it has shifted to integrating blockchain technology into new projects and released Japan’s first blockchain game, Crypt-Oink
2. Why does the team name the project RAKUN?
   “RAKU” (楽) in Japanese can be read as “easy” and also “fun” “UN” (運) is read as “luck” or “fortune”. Combining these two words together is RAKUN, “easy money” or “fun money”. RAKUN aims to build out an economy that benefits its players with products that allow them to “earn” while playing and enjoying.
3. And where did the idea come from to team up the project?
   Originally a full-fledged game studio working on IP titles, we wanted to integrate blockchain technology as a new means to explore game design with innovative new game economies. Furthermore, as we and other studios continue to create new products/games, we thought it interesting to integrate a proprietary token that would give additional benefits to users and holders.
4. What are CRYPTO-OINK & OINKBOOK advantages over other game platform products Your competitor?
   Crypt-Oink is a quality 3D racing game still ahead of its time in the realm of “blockchain games”, without comparing ourselves to other games, we believe that it’s truly a quality fun game. Please play and tell us what you think.
   Oinkbook is a forum dedicated to CryptOink, other blockchain projects of Good Luck 3, and Blockchain technology as a whole. Other games offer play to earn, we’re simply offering an additional casual, fun way to earn RAKU that can be used in our games and more.
5. Does Rakun use their own blockchain?
   RAKUN is a private blockchain with an ERC-20 token built atop Ethereum.
6. In how many countries is it operating?
   Singapore, Japan, and some operations within the United States.
7. Why did Rakun choose the gaming industry?
   Before Blockchain we were heavily a video game studio. We started making mobile games using the famous “Gudetama” IP of Sanrio Inc. (think “Hello Kitty”) while also creating our own proprietary IPs.
8. At present, the biggest problem in the world is “coronavirus”, will it affect Rakun (RAKU) token?
   Global and Digital Markets have been attacked hard by the recession brought on upon by the coronavirus. We are monitoring the market to retain the highest value possible for RAKU holders. We are still working on our projects, but also are monitoring the health of our developers and team.
9. How are the plans shaping up for marketing and building a strong, core community which is essential for any project in the crypto industry?
   Through events such as this AMA we seek to engage with our community. Admittedly as a Japanese company, engaging with our foreign audience is difficult. Telegram and Discord have been our best avenues. Furthermore we’ll continue to share information openly via Medium.
10. How can we farm money via crypt-oink?
    Breed Crypton with rare traits; raise the stats of your Crypton, and then sell them to other users on the open market.
11. What’s the use of RAKUN Points in the Crypt-Oink game?
    Please check out the RAKUN VIP System. There are special “packages” for those who decide to “lock up” or entrust their RAKU into CryptOink. To “unlock” the packages, users must “lock” up a certain number of RAKU. These packages give users special items that can give them an edge on the race track. Forthcoming packages will give users access to new gameplay features of CryptOink.
12. Most of investor just focus on the price of token in short term instead of real value of project. Can you tell us the motivation and benefits for investors to RAKUN long term?
    Good Luck 3, the company behind the RAKUN Project, will continue to develop products (games and more) that utilize RAKU thus creating 1. An economy of circulation that will increase the value of the token and 2. Unique utilization of the token via fun products with perks to holders.

14. What are your key strengths and weaknesses if any?
    More of a challenge than a weakness, but as a small independent studio in Japan, we don’t have much experience with international outreach and localization. Engaging the international community and making all our awesome projects known to an international audience has been a new challenge for us.
