GoodLuck 3 Secures ¥89.9M Seed Funding
Fukuoka-based blockchain game development studio, GoodLuck 3, recently raised ¥89.9 million in a seed funding round from top-tier investors via Fundinno stock investment-type crowdfunding.
During the round, notable Japanese businessmen — Kazuhiro Arai, Takafumi Horie, Kazutaka Muraguchi, and Professor Mogi of the University of Tokyo — indicated interest to provide valuable mentorship that would drive the requisite business growth of the platform.
This funding marks a significant milestone for GoodLuck 3 and, will in no small measure, bolster its core aim of leveraging blockchain technology to foster digital asset ownership for gamers across the globe, thus, enabling the blockchain startup to cater to the rapidly changing needs of the gaming and entertainment content development industry.
‘By creating games and entertainment content by utilizing blockchain technology, we will transform the time, money, and passion consumed in play into asset value and turn play into economic activity. I am trying to create it ’, says Kazuhisa Inoue, Founder and CEO of GoodLuck 3.
GoodLuck 3 plans to not only utilize the investment to solidify its global presence, especially across the South-East Asian region but to also scale its R&D, engineering, and business development workforce as it strives to further expand Rakun, its blockchain content development and management platform.
‘This financing will enhance capital strength and lead to business growth. In the future, we will further develop “CryptOink Racing Friends”, a new blockchain game that can use CryptOink NFT, and Rakun, a platform for content development utilizing blockchain’, Kazuhisa added.
