What is Business Profile? Business profile is an overview of the business owned by buyer to get to know their business, including their needs that can be provided by Ralali.com.

So why Ralali.com need to know the business profile owned by Ralali.com users? Ralali.com is the first B2B online marketplace in Indonesia that connect million vendors to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to start and grow their business. So, to be the greatest B2B online marketplace, we need to know what kind of business owned by the buyer in Ralali.com.

Does Ralali.com have business profile data from the buyer? Of course, we have! However, we have some challenges there. First, collecting business profile data requires 8 step forms that must be filled by buyers that take much effort and make buyers tend to discourage to fill in. In addition, the submitted data are possible for having a business profile forgery and others.

So the data held by Ralali.com at that time could not be ascertained and the data can’t be used to benchmark the needs of buyers who have businesses in Ralali.com and can indirectly disrupt the progress of Ralali.com. So what is Ralali.com doing now? Ralali.com created the second version of Business Profile to get to know buyers who have a business, so that in the future we will able to identify the necessity for users.

What about the second version of Business Profile like on Ralali.com? Ralali.com knows that buyers prefer the simple steps, so buyers only need to fill in the form in 3 steps that already include the data to explain the buyer’s business profile. Then Ralali.com also will verify the submitted data that proved qualified.

3 Steps of Ease

These 3 steps can be accessed on the Ralali.com mobile app. In the first step, the buyer is given a choice about what kind of business the buyer has. The data will be segmented under existing business units at Ralali.com, such as BIG Resto, BIG Home, BIG Auto, and others.

In the next step, Ralali.com need business information owned by the buyer to support the buyer’s business validity. Such as the business name, phone number, and address of the business which will be validated in the future by BIG Agent Ralali.com.

And the final step is: collecting documents that support the buyer’s business. In the recognition of buyer ID cards (KTP), Ralali.com has implemented OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to recognize ID cards and get data from ID cards obtained from buyers. Then, our admin will handle the rest of the data verification via CMS (Content Management System) Ralali.com.

Because we did not validate the buyer’s business profile data before, we created a new feature to verify the buyer’s business profile data. The intended feature will create a special dashboard for the business profile of Ralali.com data buyers to focus on future development. It’s also including a page to verify the buyer data that has been submitted, where the admin can change the status of the buyer and will be recorded in the status log to prevent the data damage.

The intended status is waiting for verification where the data is still being reviewed by the admin. Revision of the buyer’s data sometimes needed due to input or other errors. It will be approved when the buyer’s data has been verified and rejected if there were fraud. However, if the buyer feels that the data is feasible to be verified, the buyer can contact Ralali.com customer service.

So after the second version of the business profile has been applied by Ralali.com, what impact will this have for both the buyer and Ralali.com?

For buyers, when their business profile data has been verified, they will get recommended products according to the Ralali.com business unit, such as if your business profile is a cafe, then Ralali.com will recommend products that are on BIG Resto, where recommended products are in accordance with your business needs. For Ralali.com can find out how many buyers are in accordance with the business unit segmentation owned by Ralali.com and increase the data of buyers who have a business to get to know Ralali.com buyers and will increase Ralali.com’s opportunity to connect vendors and MSMEs to run their business. For the sellers and partners, this improvement will increase revenue from sales on Ralali.com, because the buyer has been segmented in accordance with the business unit of Ralali.com, and the seller will be focused according to the certain buyer whose needs are provided by the seller.

The segmented business needs and where to find them

After the business unit knows the market segment, what can be done? We can focus on what business units should be developed or reproduced in terms of vendors and distribution and find out which areas have been affected by Ralali. Because when the impact is well delivered to the buyers, then they tend to keep that good impression locked up in their mind, as well as the meaning of our name “Ralali” in Javanese term, which means “not forgotten”.

Thank you!
