Certified Force for Good — RALLY Is Now a B-Corporation
By Felix Schein
Earlier this month, RALLY became a Certified B-Corporation, joining the ranks of Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s and more than 2,000 other brands across the globe committed to being a force for good not just in what we do, but how we do it. This means that while we remain a for-profit company, we meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency so that we can be part of a movement to use business for the betterment of our world. We pursued this certification for one simple reason: We believe that it’s important to put our money where our mouths are, and officially operate our business in alignment with our stated values.
As a B-Corp, we hope to inspire other for-profit entities to compete to be both the best in the world and the best for the world. While that may sound cliché, there’s nothing trite about doing the right thing. Our values demand it. And given the times we live in and the partners we work with, it is imperative we do it clearly, loudly, and unapologetically.
Every day we work side by side with advocates who are dedicating their time and resources to create a more just and equitable existence for all of us. These are advocates fighting for responsible policies to mitigate against the deadly effects of climate change, pushing for a more inclusive and equitable public education system, standing up to an administration hell-bent on dismantling our democracy one day at a time, and much, much more. They are the champions for change, and we are grateful to work for a better world alongside them. It only seems right that RALLY would adopt a business model that reflects our clients’ values and ambitions as well as our own.
RALLY has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. We are proud that the business we built across the west coast will stand up as a recognized B-Corp that can advance the kind of leadership we have long-admired from other companies already in the B-Corp community. Be in touch if we can be of service to you, or if you are interested in how the process of certifying worked for us. The more the merrier when it comes to making business a force for good. And we hope you will join us.
