This morning, I touched down in Seattle, Washington, where RALLY is opening our newest office this week. With offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and now Seattle, we work nationally but embody the creativity and innovation that has defined the West Coast — from Hollywood, to Silicon Valley, to the Space Needle.

Through work with clients working on issues ranging from education to the environment, we’ve developed a deep connection to the city of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. The region has long been a beacon of progressive leadership and innovation, and its values and ethos closely reflect our own at RALLY. Our expansion into the Pacific Northwest is a logical next step given the successful projects, growing client-base and collaborative relationships we have built in the region. This is an exciting moment of growth for our firm, and a testament to the impactful work we are able to conduct with our clients.

The Seattle office will be led by Director Ashley Burns, in collaboration with myself and Director Cynara Lilly. Ashley joined us in March and brings with her more than a decade of communications and marketing experience. Prior to RALLY, she served as an Account Director at WE Communications responsible for ed-tech campaigns, curated media events and product launches for Microsoft spanning many brands including Minecraft: Education Edition, Hour of Code, NASA, Facebook and LEGO, among others. She specializes in community engagement, influencer events, storytelling, and building awareness within ambivalent or disconnected audiences.

Although our brick and mortar office is brand new to Seattle, RALLY is no stranger to the city. We’ve worked with a dozen major foundations, local nonprofits and political campaigns across the state of Washington. Our team led the effort to pass Washington’s new Charter Schools Act and partnered with the legal team defending detained DREAMer Daniel Ramirez to tell his story on a national scale. Most recently, RALLYers led the Coalition for Student Success campaign which successfully advocated for the groundbreaking reforms being voted on this week in Olympia.

Building upon the inspiring relationships we’ve already developed, and our track record of game-changing campaigns in Washington, I have little doubt that our expansion in the Northwest will mark the next chapter of RALLY’s overall impact and success.
