The future of social media is… Snapchat? Disappearing messages and ephemeral messaging in general remains the platform’s core proposition, and it seems to be working where other platforms’ attempts to copy it have failed (hi, Twitter Fleets!), The Information reports. Rival TikTok is the latest to hop on the vanishing-message bandwagon.

The social tokens accelerator Seed Club is taking applications for its third cohort. The program kicks off mid September. Projects contribute a 3 percent of their token supply to Seed Club in return for mentorship, coaching, workshops and guided exercises. It’s seeking established communities or groups with “community-market fit” to take part. Previous participants include Grammy-winning musician RAC, Top Shot trade publication First Mint and more luminaries of the social token world.
