Introduction
This is the start of the new series for my blog. Welcome to training with me!
This first blog of the series is going be sort of set up the rest. This will just be a short guide to training or training schedule ideas that you could do. There won’t be much explanation, these are just some ideas for you.
════════════════════════
Step by Step Guide
I have worked for a while to try to work out a schedule for training. What I will list in this blog will be some of those schedules I have used in the past or some I intend to use in the future. You are welcome to steel them for your own training.
I stand by the belief that even five minutes of training a day is worth it. The entire goal is consistency. If you aren’t consistent in your training then you won’t improve. If you can just spend five minutes minimum on training every day then it will be worth it.
I want to present some different schedules for training different things that I have come up with. These are all very short activity wise and shouldn’t take much time.
The first on the list is memory training! I made this schedule a while back and I have found that it works really well for short training sessions.
-Sunday
Break
-Monday

-Tuesday

-Wednesday

-Thursday

-Friday

-Saturday

This schedule shows different areas for memory training focus each day. These can be easily completed with memoryleague.com or any other resource you want to use. I don’t put time limits on these because I just do as many as I have time for each day. I have also been incorporating Kim’s game and other situational awareness games into this schedule. Sometimes if I am not feeling motivated to do the exercise scheduled for that day I will switch it out with a situational awareness game.

The next on the list is a deduction exercise schedule. This will require a bit of explaining as it is not an actual schedule. For this I just am going to begin making it a goal to get onto the subreddit /scienceofdeduction or /howtobesherlock each day and make deductions from the photos that are put up there. However, this is a difficult game because most things put on those cites are rooms and I don’t want to just train rooms. This is where the schedule comes in. I intend to find different types of things to make deductions from online or in-person in the real world for a short training each day.

You may have noticed that for both schedules so far I only have options for weekdays. This is because I don’t usually go much of anywhere on weekends and any training I do will be most likely situational awareness work with things being moved in my own house. I do still train on weekends, I am just not putting a schedule to those days.
I should also mention that you shouldn’t limit your training to online cites or media. I certainly do not, even if my schedules look like I do. Training, no matter how long you take on it each day, should be a combination of things you can train online and in-person. I do most of my deductions from live, in-person situations and the reddit deductions are extras for the extra consistency of training. This listed schedule is just for online portions of training because you can’t plan for every in-person situation you will have in a week.

The next section I want to mention is situational awareness. This as well should focus mainly on real life in-person situations as opposed to online resources. There are games for situational awareness that I made a blog on and I recommend checking out. I play those games all the time!
There isn’t a set schedule for this, instead it is based on goals and focuses to keep in mind throughout the different days. I have not worked out what I want to focus on each day specifically but I recommend just picking a goal to be aware of and sticking to that for the whole day. For example, recently my goal has been to turn on my situational awareness mindset more often in order to get into the habit of constantly being situationally aware. I made this goal because I realized that I was not in the correct mindset to be aware when I was at home since that is my relaxing space. I am working on automatically being in that mindset of awareness no matter where I am. Just have a goal and go for it!

Again, I know this blog is shorter but it is setting up further blogs.
I hope my own schedules help you find your own ways to train.
I want to emphasize again that your training needs to branch out from online. If you only train online then you have more trouble applying it to your real life. Train with what is around you and what situations you end up in. This approach may mean that you veer away from your schedule every so often but that is okay. As long as you are consistent in your training and are applying it to the world around you instead of the world behind a screen then you will make progress!
Disclaimer: Again, the day by day trainings are more for the online portion of training but that IS NOT where the focus of your training should be, as I said. Train with what is around you!!! I cannot emphasize that enough!!!

Disclaimer:
I teach people inductive/deductive reasoning and related topics. Most of the information on my blog comes from my own experiences and observations but some of it will also come from various different sources and is just information I use. I don’t claim ownership of information from other sources.
I have been studying these mindsets religiously for a while now and have been practicing memory techniques since I was in the sixth grade. However, I too am still learning. So if you have any suggestions or comments that are helpful to others that I neglect to mention please do so in the comments. I do not claim to know everything there is to know about these techniques. This blog is for educational purposes for me and the readers.

There are several books on the topics which I cover in my blogs. I can send you my working book list if you would like to read them. If you are interested message me.
Also, if you want a source for daily deduction practice material message me.
