AlgoExplorer first introduced a login system several months ago for project creators to edit their asset information and apply for verification. Now, we are welcoming all Algorand community members to join us and start tailoring their experience when using AlgoExplorer.

Users are able to log in to AlgoExplorer with their Google or Github accounts or even through a magic link sent to their personal email allowing for flexibility and ease of access without having to spend valuable minutes filling out profile information. Logging in now opens the door to several new personalization options for your exploring experience.

Assets and Apps watchlist

Algorand is a vast and diverse blockchain with many different projects. However, we all have that shortlist of tokens and apps we are commonly gravitating to. In order to keep track of those assets and dApps you use most, it is possible to add assets and dApps to your watchlist and have quick access to them at any time.

Address book

We are aware that AlgoExplorer is a key everyday tool that the Algorand community uses to monitor their transactions with multiple parties and addresses. Due to its widespread adoption, we decided to add a way for users to easily identify addresses they commonly use with casual names that resonate with them. In the address book, you can add any Algorand address and label it in whatever way is convenient to you.

Full NFD support

AlgoExplorer already welcomed NFDs a couple of months ago. We’ve received great feedback from the community due to the ease of use provided by NFDs, especially for transactions. Now we have completed the adoption of NFDs across all our explorer pages for easy visualization of assets, dApps, and transactions.

Additional Improvements

We are always looking for community feedback as it guides our improvements. Such input has driven recent changes such as; removing site reloads when browsing different pages, viewing state-proof transactions’ details, and showing the full address when looking at Account Details.

With this being said, we would like to emphasize how personalized the experience is for users who log in to AlgoExplorer. However, if the traditional format of AlgoExplorer is something you still value, then be sure that we will keep supporting it. In whatever way you wish to use AlgoExplorer, we hope you keep enjoying the experience!
