AAlmost asphyxiated, Kaira kept running. Her hair wafted with the wind while her face soaked in her own sweat. Kaira braved on, pulled her bag pack tightly, swiped the sweat with her sleeves and ran as fast as she could manage.

As she looked behind she saw a dark, bearded man running towards her. He shouted, “Wait, you bitch, wait!” but she didn’t stop running.

It was dark, she could barely see anything when suddenly she heard the clouds roar. It had started to rain. Terrified, Kaira carelessly turned to look behind when she struck a stone, fell on the ground and within a second, Kaira had passed out.

She woke up to find herself alone in a room wrapped up properly in a blanket. She tried to move but her body was in tremendous pain. She massaged her head while she tried to decipher how she landed there.
