The story begins when She Ran Off:

DDespite the excruciating pain in her body, Kaira quickly hastened towards the small hut that she could spot. She saw a man resting on a wooden chair with his eyes closed.

Kaira pretended to cough to grab his attention .The man suddenly opened his eyes and turned his face towards her. He stood up and started moving towards Kaira.

“I see you’re in senses now, Kaira. Excellent! How are you feeling?”

Suddenly there was another voice. “Aye, she’s up,” said a husky man. Kaira’s hair was yanked, and she screamed.

Both men guffawed looking at Kaira’s traumatized face.

“Where am I? How did I get here? What have I done to you people?” she hollered. “Let go of me!”

Kaira threw herself on the ground crying inconsolably.

“Don’t cry. Stand up,” said the husky guy from behind. “We have a letter for you. Here, take it.”
