The story begins with The Promotion:

NNothing kills your buzz more than to see the love of your life in the arms of your boss,” Siddharth thought as he sloshed down another glass of beer while his furtive eyes tracked every movement of Sara standing across him.

Their eyes met, quickly averted. Million questioned raised but easily thwarted.

Sara was finding it hard to grasp the reality by the minute. The bane of her existence was here. She was somehow able to speak when her husband had asked about their relationship saying Siddharth was just an old friend while Siddarth had just smiled politely and made his way to the bar.

But how could he have found her on the very day when she had decided to let go of her past, of him?

Needing some air, she made her way to the restroom, hoping he would follow.

Of course, he followed.

They looked at each other through the glass in front of them and whispered loud enough for their ears, and their ears only.

“What are you doing here?”
