Hello fellow story lovers,

Apurva and I, Mohit are immensely happy and proud to see this community grow up to 100 story lovers in last 3 weeks. This was the notification that I received when I logged into Random Tales today.

100 story lovers.

A big shout out to everyone who is the part of the community. Please accept a heartfelt thank you from both of us.

Now, on to the more important thing.

The Last Week of Candlelight

Candlelight is the first story in the series of many more on Random Tales. It is a story of a girl who is given the responsibility to save her father’s life. She is faced by unanswered questions, betrayed by friends and supported by strangers. She gets to know who her grandparents really were and how did they die. She gets to learn and live the moments she had only read in fairy tales. She is alone. She is on a mission. Will she succeed?

The story was planned to be 20 tales long. Apurva and I have been writing it every weekday alternatively. While you are reading this letter, we are already done with 16 tales in the story, and the last 4 are due this week. This week, Candlelight will conclude. If you haven’t got time to catch up with it yet, this weekend is the best time to do so. Because in next four days, Monday through Thursday, the story will conclude. The questions will be answered. Lives will be taken. Hearts will be broken.

Catch up with Candlelight now.

That’s it!

While the first story nears its conclusion this week, we would love to invite more pairs of writers to use our platform to tell the stories they are holding inside their hearts. Wondering how Random Tales work? Your questions are answered in this post: [Introducing Random Tales].

To be invited as a writer on Random Tales, please submit your story ideas (in 150 words) and the links to the authors’ Medium profiles at editorsofrandomtales[at]gmail[dot]com. (If you are reading this in your inbox, just hit reply.)

This is all part of a story. Let’s create an epic.
