With iOS 13, Apple introduces new maps with a feature called Look Around: Very much like Google’s Street View, it stitches photos of a place into a 360 degree view.

Beta testers describe it:

Like driving down a road.

What is different to Street View is the smooth animation (see video in link above).

It gives you the impression of actually following the road with, let’s say, a car.

What struck me though is how this feels when looking at it as if you sat in a car, looking out the window.

Your iPad is your car window
