Exploring Rangers Protocol’s Technology Ecosystem: In-App Services
Rangers Protocol is actively building and expanding its technology ecosystem based on a four-layer layout to fulfill its role as the backbone of a Web3 Engine to power up the evolving Web3 world.
While sparing no effort in developing the foundational layer of Infrastructure/IDE, Rangers Protocol is also eagerly working on the layer of In-app Service to provide developers with the ultimate convenience of incorporating developed features into their dApps.
Always highly sensitive to industry trends and future potentials, Rangers Protocol was the first in the industry to recognize the need for a Web3 Engine, for which it came up with not only a clear definition but a bottom-up layout consisting of Blockchain, Infrastructure/IDE, In-app Service, and Open-World Interoperability.
Led by a team of action, Rangers Protocol took immediate steps with a new brand positioning as a Web3 Engine Infrastructure and has been constructing each layer strenuously through team development and partner integration.
Though primarily focusing on the development at the blockchain and infrastructure level, Rangers Protocol never holds back the planning and construction for the in-app service layer and has made some progress for sharing.
In Providing Complete In-App Services
The layer of in-app service plays an essential role in Rangers Protocol’s vision for a powerful Web3 Engine in that it genuinely demonstrates Rangers Protocol’s commitment to minimizing the development difficulty for Web3 developers and maximizing the user experience of its Web3 applications.
Rangers Protocol is currently centering its in-app services on two core elements: NFT and DeFi, each with a comprehensive set of features to develop and deliver. NFT random generation, NFT launchpad, NFT marketplace, NFT rental, and NFT pricing are scheduled for development as the first NFT services, while DeFi DEX, DeFi launchpad, DeFi loans, and DeFi wallet represent the upcoming DeFi tools.
An in-app service layer with the above beneficial features could meet the needs of complex applications at different stages of development, with DeFi DEX assuring token circulation, DeFi wallet to store assets, and NFT marketplace to stimulate asset trading. And as users increase and assets grow, there will be more features tailored for dApps’ further appreciation, such as NFT random generation function to ensure fairness, Pricing tools to set asset value, Launchpads for project releases and marketing, and even more advanced Rental and Loaning services.
Such a complete in-app service layer with features built and made compatible with Rangers Protocol network would allow developers to enjoy the ultimate convenience of incorporating ready-developed features into their dApps instead of building them from scratch on their own. It would also bring an engaging and comprehensive experience to the dApps’ users while enhancing the circulation and usability of the in-game assets.
The Rangers Protocol team is actively pushing forward the development progress of the above-mentioned in-app services and has achieved impressive results. The components of NFT marketplace and DeFi wallet, both developed and implemented in the GameFi application DeHeroGame on Rangers Protocol mainnet, are one of the first steps taken to realize Rangers Protocol’s Web3 Engine vision.
The goal for an in-app NFT marketplace is to enable convenient commerce for and among players and to enhance the functional and social value of their assets. With an in-app marketplace, players can purchase new assets, sell their unique items, and even conduct cross-chain activities all at ease. The in-game marketplace of DeHeroGame just provides a good example of what this feature may look like.
The feature of the DeFi wallet has also been realized through integration with the non-custodial wallet UniPass, which provides a convenient Web2 on-ramp service to lower the usage threshold for the dApp users on Rangers Protocol. As the first dApp deployed on Rangers Protocol, DeHeroGame has already been integrated with a customized version of UniPass, allowing its users easier access to the game with traditional email registration and login service.
Taking the Next Step
Next, Rangers Protocol will continue completing its in-app services with more tools developed for NFT and DeFi purposes.
- NFT Features
A tool designated for NFT random generation will be developed with the goal of enhancing the uniqueness of in-game NFTs and potentially providing players with room for customization and creation.
An NFT launchpad is also scheduled for development or integration for its essentialness for mass players to create and launch NFTs in the game without much hassle. With a powerful and user-friendly launchpad, NFT co-creation would be more effectively implemented in blockchain games.
NFT rental is a feature that has been long desired by NFT owners for the possible earnings they can make by renting out their NFT assets, which in turn strengthens the asset ownership of NFTs and is appealing to new players looking for a low investment threshold.
The feature of AI learning for pricing is also on the development list for its potential assistance in enhancing NFT value. With this feature, for instance, it would be easier for game developers to set the initial price of new launches and for players to conduct NFT trading in the game.
- DeFi Features
In addition to the existing tool of DeFi wallet, Rangers Protocol will continue to complete its DeFi services with DeFi DEX, DeFi loans, and DeFi launchpad to support various DeFi activities such as token swap and yield farming, meet the demand of advanced GameFi players, and facilitate hassle-free FT creation and launch respectively.
