In November, Rangers Protocol carried on with its own technical development while pushing forward technical integration with its strategic partners. Meanwhile, the Rangers Protocol team actively seeked for new cooperation and development by attending various events across the industry.

Technical Progress

The Rangers Protocol mainnet operated stably last month, generating a total of 29 million blocks. The technical team of Rangers Protocol continued the key work on dApp-related technical development while also focusing on developing its sub-chain products.

DApp

1. Major tokens/Oracle

The contract security audit on major fungible tokens has been successfully completed. With major tokens deployed on Rangers Mainnet, users can make transactions in a wider range of cryptocurrencies in the future. In the meantime, on-chain transactions will be more secure due to the existence of the security audit mechanism.

2. Delegated Staking System

To further enhance the functionality of the Delegated Staking System, the technical team of Rangers Protocol went on developing a new function of Node Income Calculator. The new feature has now been fully developed, with which users can roughly know the revenue after staking on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis and then come up with the best way of operation.

Rangers Sub-Chain

Product Development

The development process and modules of Rangers Sub-Chain products are under planning, the overall progress of which has come to 30% at the moment. With the help of the sub-chain, on-chain transactions will become more secure and the performance of the blockchain will also be improved.

Progress in Other Fields

New Technical Integration

Rangers Protocol conducted a successful Multichain Router integration with the help of Canoe Toolkit, following the collaboration between its strategic partner Canoe Finance and the cross-chain router protocol Multichain. The integration will allow users to swap between any two chains freely while reducing fees and making it easier to move between chains.

The one-stop DeFi solution on Rangers Protocol has been fully completed by Canoe Toolkit. It could help users in Rangers Protocol switch seamlessly between Web2 and Web3, with Canoe Finance providing cross-chain services to Rangers Protocol public chain. Rangers Protocol’s developers will be able to use Canoe’s one-stop DeFi solutions with just a few lines of code.

Philippine Web3 Festival Hackathon

On November 13, the CBO of Rangers Protocol Nicolas Zhu virtually joined the Hackathon event in the Philippine Web3 Festival to meet industry experts and Web3 developers from the Philippines and beyond.

In his brief speech, Nicolas passionately introduced the technical support Rangers Protocol can provide as the backbone of a Web3 engine and the industry resources and grants it can offer with the Rangers Protocol Foundation. All developers were welcome to explore Rangers Protocol and its Web3 Engine and promote healthy and innovative development in the industry together.

Galaxy Web3 Twitter Space

On November 11, Rangers Protocol was invited to participate in and co-host the Galaxy Web3 Twitter Space AMA by the player-centric Web3 game discovery hub Playverse. Rangers Protocol’s CBO Nicolas Zhu joined the event as speaker to share ideas on the topic of “Will the combination of NFT and GameFi bring the next bull market?” with industry experts from BNB Chain, Warshmallows, etc.

Nicolas expressed confidence in gaming as one of the most popular use cases of blockchain that incorporates most major aspects of the technology. He considered blockchain games as the gateway for mass Web2 users to enter the blockchain world.

Regarding the usage of NFTs in blockchain games, Nicolas suggested Free-to-Play with quality game content as a way to attract more Web2 and Web3 players. He proposed NFTs to be used for unlocking additional features or increasing performance in games to boost complexity and excitement. NFT rental protocols were also brought up as necessary for lowering down the price of expensive NFTs to allow players a temporary use.

In addition to playability, tokenomics, and AAA qualities, Nicolas shared his belief that a solid infrastructure could help GameFi revive, for which Rangers Protocol is actively preparing by integrating more Web2 user-friendly tools and constructing a more comprehensive infrastructure that could sustain future large scale applications, especially complex games.

Rangers Protocol will keep working strenuously on technical development, ecosystem expansion, and more. Please stay tuned for the latest progress.
