Rangers Protocol carried forward its work on technical development and ecosystem construction in October, with the Rangers Protocol mainnet operating stably and generating a total of 26.4 million blocks. The Rangers Protocol team also took actions in extending cooperation industry wide and giving back to its community.

Technical Progress

The Rangers Protocol team moved its focus of last month to dApp-related technical development and the blockchain integration of Rangers Connector.

Rangers Connector

The blockchain integration of Rangers Connector is proceeding smoothly, with 10% of work left to go. More functions delivered in October or currently in steady development progress include:

  • The problem that the transaction fee is not calculated when users submit cross-chain requests was all fixed;
  • Integration of the cross-chain bridge fee calculation module and the contract calling module (the original bridge module) was completed by 80%;
  • The TSS-based connector manager is now being tested on Robin Testnet, with the testing of sending RPG to BSC finished at the moment. The whole testing process is 40% done;
  • Regarding the issues of liquidity, the planning part is nearly concluded and the overall progress has come to 30%;
  • A White Paper is now being prepared, with 10% of the set task fulfilled.

DApp

1. Node Management System

The 2.0 version of Node Management System is being developed based on new UI and page logic, which is currently half way through.

2. Functionality of official website page

More new functions have been fully developed and deployed on Rangers Protocol’s official website to enhance user experience, which include:

a. RSS subscription function with email notification sent after every successful subscription;

b. Display function allowing the presenting of Rangers mainnet maintenance and update announcements on the front-end page.

3. Major tokens/Oracle

a. Major tokens including ETH, USDT, and MIX have been fully deployed in Rangers Protocol mainnet;

b. A contract security audit on the mainstream fungible tokens is underway and now 80% complete.

The development with other dApp tools, such as the support components for multiple front-end wallets, has been progressing steadily as well. In the meantime, more feature requests for Rangers Scan data service are being scheduled to improve user experience in tracing transactions.

Rangers Protocol x Boba Brewery AMA

Following the visit of Rangers Protocol CBO Nicola Zhu to the community of Boba Brewery, a launchpad for top DeFi, GameFi, & NFT Metaverse projects. Rangers Protocol carried forward the friendly communication by holding an AMA in its telegram community on October 27 and inviting Lexie, the CMO of Boba Brewery, to introduce the project and share thoughts on the role of launchpads in the blockchain industry.

Rangers Protocol has always been active in establishing communication and extending cooperation with promising projects across the industry to enrich its ecosystem and provide its community with a wider range of quality services and products. The interaction with Boba Brewery this time is another attempt of the Rangers Protocol business development team, with more to expect.

Halloween Event

On October 31, a Halloween-themed event was launched in the Rangers Protocol community to boost the festive vibes and give back to the community members for their warm support all along. Anyone participating the event by posting short horror stories in the telegram channel of Rangers Protocol stood a chance to share the airdrop prize of 200 $RPG.

The Halloween event came to an end with success on November 1, with ten winners randomly selected to share the prize and happiness. More such events are coming up in the winter holiday season. Rangers Protocol will stay attentive to its community and make it a loving and warming neighborhood.
