Rangers Protocol is thrilled to announce another major movement along its way of sustained expansion that fourteen new partners have officially joined the Rangers Protocol ecosystem to take the crucial roles of proposal nodes and will contribute to the construction and governance of Rangers Protocol.
These freshly onboarded node partners include Incuba Alpha Holdings, Puzzle Ventures, SNZ, Polkastarter, Hash Global, HashKey Capital, Consensus Lab, SevenX Ventures, Origin Capital, Metaverse Capital, Kernel Ventures, META BRIDGE, Spark Digital Capital, and ArkStream Capital, whose presence will increase the level of decentralization of Rangers Protocol to a greater extent.
What are Proposal Nodes?
As one of the two types of ecological nodes that generate blocks in the Rangers Protocol ecosystem, the proposal nodes are primarily responsible for providing candidate blocks.
Proposal nodes are obligated to generate witness units, continue staking, and select verification nodes. Meanwhile, they enjoy certain node rights by receiving RPG (Rangers Protocol Gas) revenue and can participate in the daily governance of Rangers Protocol under the constraints of the governance mechanism.

How to Become a Proposal Node?
The current recruitment of Rangers Protocol proposal nodes is invitation-only, meaning the first batch of proposal nodes announced today is generated through the directional invitation of Rangers Protocol Foundation to the co-builders of the ecosystem.
Rangers Protocol enthusiastically welcomes more node partners to its ecosystem and always aims high in terms of decentralization and systematic development.
Here is the upcoming 2-step application process of becoming a proposal node.
- Stake to Apply
To apply to become a Rangers Protocol proposal node, staking of 2000 RPG is required and locked until the end of block reward distribution. The staking amount is subjected to adjustment according to the development of Rangers Protocol and the improvement of its governance mechanism.
After the required amount of RPG is staked, the program can be run according to the application process in the “Development Documents” as follows:

With the required tokens being staked as a guarantee, the applicants can then participate in the election for the proposal node. The expansion and re-election of proposal nodes will both be carried out through community voting.
