Guide: Running a Berachain Polaris Node on RapidNode

Berachain is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK, utilizing a Proof of Liquidity consensus mechanism.

The project has garnered support from renowned venture capital firms such as Polychain and Hashkey, having recently secured $100M in a Series B funding round. To date, Berachain has raised over $142M, reaching a valuation of $420M.

Berachain is presently in its testnet stage. The Bera Node, developed from the Polaris project, introduces a number of substantial enhancements. This guide will help you on setting up a local node in preparation for the release of the Genesis file, which is essential for network connection. Please be aware that the binaries required to operate a full validator node are still not available to the public.

Step 1: Log In To Rapid Nodes & Add Credits

• Signup on our platform Here
• Add Credits To Purchase Nodes

Step 2: Buying Berchain Node

• Visit the dashboard page, select “Berachain,” and choose your preferred duration.
• You can now verify whether your node is deployed by visiting the “Active Nodes” section.
• It will take some time, but once deployed, proceed to the next steps

Step 3: Retrieving the Private Key & Addresses

• Once your node has been deployed, click on the “Private Key” button to private keys.
• Use “Seed Phrase” to import it into wallets.

Step 4: Monitor Your Node Deployment

Once your node is completely deployed, you can monitor your Node Deployment by going to UptimeKuma. Your login credentials will be shown.
