XOV Partnership

As the new year endures through the first month of 2019, the list of Rapids integrations continues to multiply. We are excited to announce our latest partnership with XOV!

This collaboration is one of strategy, as XOV has affirmed the perpetual support of the Rapids Network and the Rapids team has responded in turn. XOV endeavors to close the gap between the customer service, security, and compliance of our modern banking with that of our current and future applications of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

XOV provides an entire line of financial products for digital asset enthusiasts, but XOV’s main product is what they call the DAMP — Decentralized Asset Management Platform:

The DAMP is our global retail product based on the BitShares network, providing XOV customers with a range of decentralised assets that they can trade, using blockchain technology. The Bitshares network enjoys super-fast network speeds for transaction processing, and having been established for some time now is considered tested, proven and stable. Existing within an innovative community, the BitShares network will enjoy a future of sustainable growth.

XOV appears to be headed in the right direction, dissolving the barrier from our traditional financial systems to the FinTech world of blockchain technology that has inhibited so many from investing in cryptocurrency. The XOV platform is basically an extensive cryptocurrency banking infrastructure that will allow us to do what we have always been capable of achieving in our conventional financial markets, combined with what we are now able to do with digital assets.

Uniting these two fronts with the added benefit of compliance means that XOV has all of their ducks in a row, as compliance translates into the trust, security, and confidence that digital asset investment is in accordance with global regulatory environments. The XOV product line is broken down into the following financial resources:

• The Bitshares Utility Token

What this means for Rapids is that towards the end of the year, Rapids will be listed upon XOV’s platform, diversifying the influence and capability of RPD in more financial sectors with the other big names in cryptocurrency that will likewise be listed on XOV.

With the blockchain, our money has finally been relinquished into our individual control. The partnership between Rapids and XOV is assisting in facilitating that reality, merging our old financial systems with our new ones, adding in compliance, and topping it all off with a twist of community that both Rapids and XOV pledge to foster across our social networks.
