Location: Marine Room, La Jolla, CA
Time: 10:43 AM
Surf: 1 to 2 feet: negligible
Visibility: poor in the shallows, 10 to 15 feet further down

Max depth: 129 ft
Dive buddies: Scott Mc., Julie L.
Marine life observed: Black-Eyed Gobies, rock crab, spiny lobster, one Bluebanded Goby, a large schools of Silversides…..
Highlights:
— the problem with seeing Mola Molas and Friday jellies last week, is that it’s a hard act to follow. Nonetheless, the four of us had a good dive. Visibility was rather poor in the shallows, but opened up further down the highlight of the dive for me and Jim was being swarmed by long, silver ‘freight train’ of Silversides, that appeared to be mackerel, but it was hard to tell, because it flashed by us such a high speed.
We also saw our fair share of spiny lobster, hiding in their holes, and thumbing their noses at us, because they knew they were in at preserve and could not be taken.
All in all, it sure beats staying home and sorting the sock drawer!
Dive safe,
