God Sees You Back There!

But many who are first will be last, and the last first. — Matthew 19:30

People can make us feel so bad sometimes. If you’re a girl people might say you’re not pretty enough by their standards. You might get pushed to the back and seen as ugly. If you’re a boy and can’t play sports and your body isn’t like other people say it should be then you might be seen as unattractive. If you just want to spend most of your time doing educational stuff, you may become the object of teasing and may be called a NERD. Some people might say; “Your hair isn’t long enough. You’re not shaped right or you’re weird. You talk funny”. Etc., etc, etc.

Just because you don’t fit in with the so-called norm of society doesn’t mean you’re not part of the best God has to offer to this world. Some of the brightest, smartest and most famous people were once seen as a “nobody”. Then one day they became somebody.

So don’t worry about what people say about you. Don’t let it stop you. It is easier being yourself than trying to be someone you think other people want you to be. Chances are, at the end of the day, you’re happier than they are.

Jesus told His disciples something similar when He told them that whatever they have left or never had wouldn’t affect the outcome of the plans for their lives. He is speaking to you today whenever you feel like you’re all alone because of not fitting into the so-called norm. He sees you in the back where other people have put you. And He will bring you to the front where He always has intended you to be.
