Solidity devs can sometimes run into roadblocks learning a completely different blockchain architecture as they already have a preconceived notion of how everything should run. Our course turns these roadblocks into opportunities: we explicitly teach what is similar to EVM development and what is very different, and we try to use Ethereum analogies where helpful.

Many of the tutorials include exercises to practice what you learn so that the content is more easily retained.

We do not assume developers have prior Rust experience. Rust is an enormous language, and a common mistake developers make is getting too stuck on Rust when their intent is to learn Solana. We avoid this pitfall by introducing the language incrementally and only briefly explaining aspects of the language we can reasonably expect to be obvious (such as the syntax for functions and if statements). The course does not teach aspects of Rust you will not need for Solana development, such as parallel processing.
