New division at our agency builds affordable Wordpress websites
Our Orange County-based design agency Rareview has launched a new Wordpress division (called Rareview WP) specifically geared to individuals and small businesses. Our aim is to help businesses build beautiful Wordpress websites for affordable prices. We specialize in all things Wordpress and we want to use our expertise to bridge the gap between big company budgets and small businesses.
We’re helping small businesses get off the ground. Our objective is to take one thing off your plate; to help you get your company started. It’s an opportunity for us to encourage and support small businesses and new ventures who don’t always have big budgets or funding.
There is an influx of freelancers in our nation. Technology has allowed people to take an idea from inception to deployment. People are starting new businesses and turning the dream of working for themselves into reality. Many don’t have funding but still need websites. We want to help.
A little background
When I started my digital design agency Rareview back in 2002 I had a love for the Web, a passion for design and development, and a yearning to start my own company.
My father was an entrepreneur. He built his own business and ran it for over 30 years. The messages I received as a child were geared around hard work, perseverance, accountability, and entrepreneurship.
As a young professional, I desperately wanted to start my own business and grow it into something bigger. I was fortunate that some friends and colleagues trusted me early on, allowing me to pursue my passion. And after a few years, we officially opened the doors.
I’ve always wanted Rareview to design unique user experiences. From the beginning, my goal was to craft websites and apps that had fresh designs and solid user experiences. And while that goal has never changed, technology and the Web has — allowing businesses to create truly beautiful and functional digital products.
Today, it’s more important than ever to design a custom, unique experience for your users, who are fickle and will leave in an instant.
Let’s face it. There’s a ton a noise — a bazillion websites, apps, products, and messages. Companies need to stand out. They do this by designing a great product, and the user experience is the centerpiece.
Apple made companies realize that UX/UI design is critical to product sales. They helped raise the bar and companies started to realize the importance of design.
We don’t usually have to spend time convincing companies of the importance of good design like we did a long time ago. They get it.
So, we work with startups from Silicon Valley and Fortune 500 companies to design beautiful, functional websites and apps. These companies have funding, large budgets, and enthusiasm to design great products. Without designers on staff, they naturally seek help from agencies like Rareview with expertise in UX/UI design.
But…what about small businesses or startups that don’t have enough cash to hire an agency? They know they need professional help, but they simply can’t afford it.
How can we help startups that don’t have funding and small businesses who are strapped for cash?
Over the last few years, I’ve been thinking about how we can give back.
It’s been 14 years now and we’ve been fortunate to work with great clients on interesting projects. These projects typically have larger budgets. As a result, we have to turn away smaller companies that have limited funds.
I understand how difficult it is to start a company and I want to help.
So, we created a new division of our agency specifically to address this problem.
We’re going to help startups and companies that are strapped for cash build a website for an affordable price.

Why Wordpress?
Well, for one, we know Wordpress inside and out. Second, it gives businesses the ability to manage and create their own content once the website is finished.
Also, it’s pretty popular. In fact, Wordpress powers 26.4% of the Web. It’s the most used CMS by far with a 59.4% market share.
It does have drawbacks, but for our use in this case, it’s logical to use Wordpress as the CMS.
We understand the value and importance of your website. And we want to help you make it.
Your website is a marketing tool. It’s your brand. It’s the place where potential customers will first engage with you and your company, and will make a decision on whether or not to call you. We understand the importance of having a good, professional website.
