Rarible Protocol team restructure

If you’re an active Rarible Protocol user or supporter, you might have noticed some changes on our social channels — Rarible Protocol Discord, Twitter and newsletter — including new naming and weekly agenda.

In this post, we are shedding some light on these updates and answering the FAQs on what it means for the community moving forward.

Here’s what it’s all about! 👇

Forming new teams

During the last few months, Rarible Protocol has evolved into a vibrant ecosystem, with more projects from a variety of chains and industries joining us every week.

In order to support them more efficiently, a decision was made to shape Rarible DAO and Rarible Protocol into separate entities with dedicated teams.

It will allow us to simplify and fast track the development of the open-source Protocol, as well as facilitate its adoption in the rapidly growing NFT space.

A sneak peek into the new Rarible Protocol teams

The newly formed Rarible Protocol teams will be working more closely with Rarible, the most successful front end running on the Rarible Protocol to date.

They are currently being shaped and will primarily focus on:

  • Business Development
  • Developer Relations
  • Marketing

Rarible DAO to focus on Token Governance

Rarible DAO, in its turn, will continue to incubate projects and will still be governed by $RARI holders. Current grant recipients will continue receiving their funds, according to the terms established on their approved proposals. The same applies to projects with approved proposals that are yet to receive their grants. Do not worry, all your fundings are Safu!

We will be communicating a new process for the grant proposals, as well as setting up new destinations for the DAO very soon! So stay tuned 😉 Lots of updates on the way!

If you have any questions or concerns, you can always have them addressed on the Rarible Protocol Discord.
