BBL 2022–23: Melbourne Renegades- Preview, Squad, Probable Playing XI, Players to lock for D3.club

Melbourne Renegades haven’t had the best of times during the last three seasons of the Big Bash League (BBL). They lifted the title in 2018–19 but have since disappointed with their performances, finishing last in the points table for three consecutive editions.

However, having named a star-studded squad for the BBL 2022–23, the Renegades might finally fancy their chances of doing well this year. They will have to play as a group and not let any slip-ups impact their performance.

In this piece, we will take you through Melbourne Renegades’ squad, probable playing XI and most importantly, the player cards you need to have from Renegades to win mega prizes on D3.club during the upcoming BBL.

There will be mighty rewards on offer on D3.club during the BBL! So, you must start gathering the right player cards from now on only to make sure you are on top of things before the tournament begins!

Aaron Finch, the Australian T20 captain, is known for his blitz with the bat. He becomes much more dangerous when it comes to Australian conditions. So, he should be your first pick from Renegades.

Andre Russell, the mighty West Indian all-rounder, will be available for just the first four matches of BBL 2022–23 but he could play a big role in all four of them. Once he is unavailable, Kiwi opener Martin Guptil will replace him in the squad. He is also a brilliant timer of the cricket ball. Grabbing cards of both these players should be a good choice.

Among bowlers, the spin duo of Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Akeal Hosein are must-picks. We have seen how important role spinners play Down Under, especially in the middle-overs. Kane Richardson is a top option from the pacers. He bowls in the death and gets a lot of wickets, using those cutters.
