BBL 2022–23: Top Three Performing Player Cards of the Tournament
The 12th edition of the Big Bash League is now in the final stages and we’ve had many excellent performances with both bat and ball throughout the competition. Many players have performed consistently and have played a key role in the success of their respective teams.
A lot of these players helped a lot of you too in winning mega rewards on D3.club. If you had cards of the following players, you must’ve taken home some, if not many, winnings. But this doesn’t stop here. These players could keep helping you win the future as well or you could trade them on Marketplace as well. Isn’t it a win-win situation?
The BBL Challenger and Final is scheduled next and the player cards are dropping on Rario. Make sure you’ve the right cards to end the tournament on a high. Meanwhile, let’s go through the top three performing player cards of BBL 2022–23:
1. Matthew Short
The Adelaide Strikers failed to qualify for the playoffs but Matthew Short had a stellar season. He was in red-hot form with the bat as he scored 458 runs in 14 games at an average of 35.23 and strike-rate of 144.47.
Short is the leading run-scorer of this season. He scored two fifties and one century as well. The all-rounder also contributed with the ball as he picked up 11 wickets at an economy of 7.13. His numbers signify that he was the best performer of the tournament.
2. Aaron Hardie
Aaron Hardie has been in sublime form in BBL 2022–23. He has scored 443 runs in 14 matches at an average of 44.30 and strike-rate of 141.53. Hardie has scored four half-centuries as well. He started the tournament as a middle order batter but later he was promoted to number three, thanks to his brisk knocks.
He has been very consistent with the bat and is the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament. He has been a key player for the Perth Scorchers this season and would play a major part if they’ve to win the tournament.
3. Sean Abbott
Sean Abbott has been a consistent performer in the Big Bash League for some time now and BBL 2022–23 was no different. He is the highest wicket-taker of this season with 28 wickets to his name in 14 matches. His economy rate is 7.77 and bowling strike-rate is 10.8.
Abbott also became the all-time leading wicket-taker in the Big Bash League. He is a seasoned campaigner and was at his best with the ball when his team required him the most.
