New Delhi, 19 January 2022: Cricket-based NFT platform Rario today announced a new partnership with the Legends League Cricket. This is Rario’s fourth partnership agreement of its kind, having already associated with the Caribbean Premier League, Lanka Premier League, and Abu Dhabi T10 League as official partners. The Legends League Cricket is scheduled to be held from 20th January to 29th January, 2022.

The Legends League Cricket (LLC) is a unique tournament built on the idea of reliving cricket fans’ memories of watching their favourite legends square off against each other on the field. It features a plethora of cricket legends from across the world who compete in the T20 format over a period of 10 days. The inaugural edition will be contested by three teams- India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants, and the rosters include the likes of Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Brett Lee, and Kevin Pietersen among others.

About Legends League Cricket

The Legends League Cricket (LLC) is a one-of-its-kind competitive T20 tournament that features legendary cricketers from across the globe. It provides cricket fans the coveted opportunity to watch their favourite stars once again in an exciting format.

The inaugural edition shall be played at the Oman Cricket Stadium in Muscat and shall bring together over 50 retired legends of the game including Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Brett Lee, and Kevin Pietersen among others. The three teams to contest this season are India Maharajas comprising of ex-Indian cricketers, Asia Lions comprising of legends from the remaining countries in Asia, and the World Giants featuring cricketers from the rest of the world.

The league will be played in a double round-robin format which would lead to six matches followed by the final between the top two teams. The opening clash is on January 20 as India Maharajas take on Asia Lions, while the final is scheduled for January 29.
