Pitch Report (M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore)

The pitch at the Chinnaswamy Stadium will be a great one for batting. There may be something for the pacers with the new ball and the spinners may get some purchase as the ball gets older. Overall, it will be an excellent deck for batting. Expect it to be a high-scoring game if India bats first otherwise the Dutch batting can break apart against the Indian bowlers.

Dependable Trio for D3

Virender Sehwag (OG- Batter 1) (India) [Captain]: Rohit will be Batter 1 for India. He is expected to do well against the Netherlands in this game. There is no real threat for Rohit in the Dutch bowling attack and he has been in top form in this tournament. He may score big in this game on a good batting track at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Rohit scored 40 (24) in the last game. He will be our Captain pick.

Bas de Leede (Netherlands): Bas de Leede will bowl his full quota and will bat in the middle order. He hasn’t been in the best of forms with the bat but he’s a key player for his side and started off quite well in ODI WC 2023. De Leede picked up 3 wickets in the last game. He has 127 runs & 14 wickets in 8 games.

Anil Kumble (OG- Bowler 4) (India): One of Kuldeep or Jadeja will be Bowler 4 for India. Both have been in terrific form with the ball and can go through the Dutch batting line-up on their day. Jadeja has 14 wickets and Kuldeep has 12 wickets to their names, respectively. Anil Kumble’s OG card will be a top pick in this game.
